The coronavirus has taken the workplace by storm. All of the sudden we are being encouraged to stay indoors as much as possible. Many employees are now working from home. So how do managers ensure workers are using their time wisely?

There are several tools that will help keep your workers in sync. Apps like Basecamp, Trello and Asana are excellent for following progress and keeping everyone on on board with one another and on track.

Online collaboration

How about keeping the group in communication with the others? Here is where Slack really shines. In making it easy for team members to quickly push their message to the whole group, or a handful, or even just one team member, Slack makes communication seamless. The ability to @mention also makes it so the appropriate worker receives a particular communication.


But what about employee meetings? Online platforms like Skype, Uberconference and Zoom are perfect for group conferences. Enforcing the use of the display feature also means bosses can verify their workers are attending the call and are at attention.
